Power Generator(PG)

POWER GENERATOR (Diesel or Petrol):

As we discussed earlier, Battery is the source for Electricity*. Today I am not going to discuss about battery, but we are going to discuss another source of Power usually we will come across these instruments or machines on main roads of City Market*. Trivially that machine is POWER GENERATOR(PG).

Why today on PG, it is because of their sound and the gas(whatever= CO2, CO) which they release. It will give simple donation to Pollution, in Sound and Gas(Air). Research people are thinking towards Battery,Solar cells and Wind energy, because these energy sources are Harmless, No pollution etc., For research people it(subject) is nothing they will choose whichever they want because government will provide the fund. Non research people if they want to invent some thing,no funds from any source. So these people have to spend there own money to do some thing better than earlier.

In todays discussion PG is main part. One Indian thought to reduce the sound and pollution of PG. And he spent six years on this project, today he came out with one Patent with the help of his new invented machine(In image).

"Full Detail:"

Virendra Kumar Sinha, who runs a workshop in East Champaran in Bihar, was unaware of his pollution control device that can be attached to generators or other diesel engines to reduce noise and air pollution. As Google says emission of Carbon Dioxide will reach 43% in world's Pollution by 2035.Virendra's device will make a big difference in the world, which requires a cleaner and greener environment.

Virendra's workshop, which started in 1981 by manufacturing iron gates and grills, situated just opposite a school. Since they face frequent power cuts, Virendra had to install a generator that resulted in noise and air pollution, which affected school children and neighbors. "It was difficult to move to a new location for me so I started thinking about ways to control this pollution," says Virendra. This was when he thought about something that will control the pollution and finally he came with a device that can be attached to a generator or other diesel engines to minimize the noise and smoke. It took him six years of experiments to build the first device. Initially, what started as a mission to carry out his work smoothly, turned into a successful innovation with universal appeal and value.

A patented device, it allows carbon deposits to get collected periodically. This can be reused as raw material for shoe polish and local small-scale industry units. Virendra Kumar is now fine-tuning the device to further reduce noise from engines. His next project is a pollution control device for four-wheelers.

Device consists of a cylindrical drum having concentric perforated screens and a few long perforated tubes having equally spaced mesh linings. The cylindrical drum is placed between the generator and the exhaust pipe. The exhaust gases, which enter the unit, strike against the array of protruding fins and perforated tubes continuously. The vortex results in the dissociation of carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide into carbon particulates and oxygen.

The innovation also works as a silencer by internally canceling out sound waves as they pass through a series of concentric channels. The carbon-based effluents are removed as solid deposits. As a result the exhaust gases are very clean.

On an average, after 3,000 hours of engine operation, about 5 kg of Black Material(Carbon) gets collected at the bottom of the drum. In about six to eight months, it collects 12 to 14 kg of carbon, which can be easily taken out.

The testing of the device was done in BIT Mesra, Ranchi. The institute also observed a reduction in carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide up to 30 percent and considerable reduction in temperature.

While it takes one day to make a small device, a bigger one would take two days. Virendra Kumar has sold about 40 pollution control devices for different types of engines so far. The device costs Rs.2500 to Rs.10,000 depending upon the type of engine. While Virendra takes just 5 percent as his profit, this innovation can turn out to be very profitable for small factories and households that use generators.

Innovation needs an inventive mind, not a professional degrees proves Mr.Virender.Hats up for the innovation.

Its really great, congratulations. Definitely you will be recognized soon. Officials please help our citizen to lead india to the next level, even for recent Oil Spill in USA present, US president decided to take Bacteria in INDIA which eats the Oil without affecting the Sea or the Aquatic life, even a Bacteria in INDIA gets world recognition, why cant a citizen of INDIA. It will be recognized by the goverment for his creative innovation "LETS GO GREEN"

India has a lot of innovators...........but we all need to recognize them

Last one line Whichever you will get in Foreign Market from Pin to Top class Shirts, are manufactured in India. Most of them from Mumbai's slum "DHAARAVI".

Thanking You

Mathematics In My Life (MIML)

Life without mathematics is not so fun, similarly the maths teacher.

When we were in High School many of my friends were strong in Mathematics but weak in other subjects. Few were there those were strong in all the subjects. I was little strong in Social Studies and my subject Science. Mathematics was hard stone. Its because the way of thinking in maths. Not knowing that which formula for which problem. This made to sit in group study after our school time. With genius people of mathematics. In those time thinking will be very Sci-Fi. What we thought god blessed these genius people with good Mathematic Brain, Of course they were. In each group one genius of Mathematics, English and Science will be there to clear the doubt.

Mathematics teacher(Miss Khushi) was so strong even our class Don's used to keep quite in her class. Because Don's will be insulted in front of girls by maths miss. If the girls laughed by seeing boys, that one big insult for boys.

Today why this topic comes in my mind because this June we celebrated our 10th class 10th anniversary, means we finished our 10 th class 10 year before. So we were all happy to see our old friends and teachers. School life is golden life with all the things. Each friends got rose from teacher, when my turn came maths teacher's turn came. So it was very terrible moment with lot of excitement received the rose.

In our high school we learnt more, fought for girls, fought for School, Fought for name. But those were sweet memories in our lives. Still now we are respecting those teachers. Because without teachers no one can become good person in the society. Many are earning lacks per day, many are earning some rupees in a day. But all are earning sincerely and that much is enough to be happy. This is because of Moral Science what we studied and what we taught in high school. Dont say and dont think that in each school it will happen, friends here I am saying about my school, my teachers and my life.

But this is true in each's life one role model will be there from High School Teachers. Beginning teachers of our life. Many will come after that, no one will get that respect. We have grown in the way, now we are saying directly to our present teacher that you are doing wrong. Each teacher will not be same in our life. But this is true we learn one or the other thing from each teacher whether it is good or bad.

Now a days teachers(not all) becoming commercial, they are playing politics, they love money, at old age they are in love, they are leaving ethics. I salute my teachers of my high school. I thank to all of them.

I've not got still best friend like in our high school. Still now we are fighting daily. We are helping together. As my class girl told "I Love You All" she was so excited. Every one clapped for her this statement.

But some people did not got the opportunity to speak. Thanks to all my friends. As we forgot all the things which happened in high school. To remember those things we will meet soon in any one's marriage or any function. All are getting married some people are married.

I always remember one line " Life is Once, Just enjoy it."

Thank you

Evolution of the Human Brain

Do You Know(DOK)

This week also in evolution of life means about human body. Today I am going to discuss about some important questions related to our body. Which we never thought earlier, in future also we will not think why it is so?

Questions:

1) Why we are having five fingers in different size?

2) Why the head is above of the body?

3) Why the hands are connected exactly to the chest portion (torso) just below the neck.?

4) etc.,.,

Today we got the answer for third question from Robert Baker, of Department of Physiology and Neuroscience,NewYork University Langone Medical Center;Edward Gilland, Department of Anatomy, Howard University.

In which they studied fish and the characterization to compare with our human body. Mainly about the neck which is not visible in fish like us. They only considered ray-finned fish because it is an ancestry(old animals).

In biological terms:Motor innervation to the tetrapod forelimb and fish pectoral fin is assumed to share a conserved spinal cord origin, despite major structural and functional innovations of the appendage during the vertebrate water-to-land transition. They present anatomical and embryological evidence showing that pectoral motoneurons also originate in the hindbrain among ray-finned fish.

Scientists had assumed the pectoral fins in fish and the forelimbs (arms and hands) in humans are innervated -- or receive nerves -- from the exact same neurons. After all, the fins on fish and the arms on humans seem to be in the same place on the body. Not so.

During our early ancestors' transition from fish to land-dwellers that gave rise to upright mammals, the source for neurons that directly control the forelimbs moved from the brain into the spinal cord, as the torso moved away from the head and was given a neck.
In other words human arms, like the wings of bats and birds, became separate from the head and placed on the torso below the neck.

"A neck allowed for improved movement and dexterity in terrestrial and aerial environments," says Andrew Bass, Cornell professor of neurobiology and behavior, and an author of the paper. "This innovation in biomechanics evolved hand-in-hand with changes in how the nervous system controls our limbs." which is published in Nature Communications high impacted one.

Bass explained that this unexpected level of evolutionary plasticity likely accounts for the incredible range of forelimb abilities -- from their use in flight by birds to swimming by whales and dolphins, and playing piano for humans.

The research was authored by Leung-Hang Ma.

Still many people are working on our body parts, the structure of human body and the characterization. In biology, doing research is not so easy. But it is difficult think like a mad and work like a donkey. After some years you will be recognizable with few papers which are the best in the world. So many indians are also working in the field of biology.

Wait for the best.

Biology In Life (BIL)

Bio(life)-logy(study)
Studying biology is wonderful experience in our life. In 12th standard we will be having many general questions. When some experts gave lecture in front of 12 th standard students their knowledge as well as students knowledge will also improve.

I do not know why there are many questions which are unsolved yet! I think answer is biology consists of much more minute particles, many people are working on such particles or things (because these are living beings, here we should not consider as particles). Like our Venkatraman invented the structure for Ribosome.Similarly many of them gave for DNA, Protein etc.,

Prof.Smt.Shanbag gave wonderful lecture on Evolution of Life and Biodiversity. She showed some slides on replicating DNA, Test tube babies, Reproduction, Vaccines, Bio Nanotechnology, Biochemistry.

After lecture there will be interaction hour as it will be everywhere. So here I m not concentrating on the lecture part, but mainly concentrating on interaction hour. KCD students well known for their thinking , intelligence and IQ. How they took us to Mythology and the Science. Indians are genius earlier because Valmiki wrote Mahabharata, Vyasa wrote Ramayana these two are with nice imagination those were beyond our limits. Still now, we always think

1) How Gandhari gave berth to 101 Kauravas?

2) How Ravana has 10 heads?

3)Third eye of the Lord Shiva?

these are typical questions in mythology.

Now we will try to relate these questions with Science means biology. 101 Kauravas or babies to give berth in one life span it is not possible, nowadays test tube babies are similar one where they will collect egg's from mother, sperms from the father those will be grown in some other ovary. Like this it is possible to produce 100 babies of one mother or female. Actually they were grown in Drona(like petri dish) as mentioned in Mahabharata of Valmiki.

Ravana has 10 heads, in science it is impossible for one person. But 2 or 3 heads are possible if 3 head genes become dominant they will suppress other genes like hand one or leg one, So in fertilization growth of those hand or leg will be stopped instead of that extra heads will form. In physics terminology it is a defect or dislocation.

Third eye of Lord shiva is also a genetic disorder in which skin genes will be suppressed by eye gene which is dominant. These are all biological explanation regarding the mythology.

I got the clarification after six year when my students asked the same questions to Prof.Smt.Shanbhag which were in my mind when I was in 12th standard.
